For home builders selling presale homes with set finish packages
How to show presale buyers your finish packages before the house is framed
A builder's guide to showing two or three finish packages to presale buyers before framing, using a photo of a finished room you already built. One free credit, then buy a credit pack or subscribe.
The problem with selling finishes on a vacant lot
A presale buyer is choosing between packages for a house that doesn't exist yet. They get a sample board, a few door swatches and a spec sheet. It's hard to picture a full kitchen from a two-inch chip. Showing each package in a real room gives them something to react to before the framing crew arrives.
Start from a room you already built
- Use your own finished photo. A kitchen or great room from a recent build on the same plan, or the show home. Buyers see your trim, your ceiling height and your window sizes.
- Shoot it level, straight on, main lens. One frame per room, every light on, counters clear.
- Pick the rooms that carry the package. Usually the kitchen, the main bath and the great room flooring. Bedrooms rarely change between packages.
- No finished room on this plan yet? Start from the PDF plan instead. See the floor plan to rendering guide.
One image per package, same photo
Run each package on the same source photo so the only thing that changes is the finish. Describe one package at a time and name what stays: "Change the cabinets to white shaker and the counters to light grey quartz. Keep the layout, windows, island, ceiling and room size unchanged." Then repeat for the next package. Two or three images side by side let the buyer compare packages directly.
Keep the concept separate from the contract
Each image shows the look of a package. Product codes, colours and model numbers live in your spec sheet and the buyer's signed selection. Keep the spec sheet beside the image. When the buyer picks, record the choice in writing. The finish selections guide covers what a saved selection contains and who signs it.
When to show the packages
Show them at the first sales meeting, before the buyer books the design centre appointment, so the buyer can arrive with a direction, and the appointment goes to the details. Send the images with the package sheet after the meeting so the household can talk it over at home.
What it costs
Promo for accounts created through Dec 31, 2026, 11:59 PM MT: your one free credit makes one image, and you download it watermark-free at full resolution. After that, buy a credit pack or subscribe to keep creating.
Credit packs are one-time purchases and pack credits do not expire, which suits builders who release a few presale lots at a time. The Studio pack is $49 USD for 100 credits. If you show packages every week, Agent is $19 USD/month for 40 credits; Studio monthly is $49 USD/month for 120 credits. Monthly plans renew until canceled and unused monthly credits expire at the end of the period. Cancel anytime. A standard single image costs one credit, and each request shows its credit charge before it runs. Failed generations return their credits. See RenderVibe pricing.
Can I show a package image in my marketing?
The finishes shown should be ones you actually offer. Don't use the image to stand in for a photo of a finished home.
Will the image match the exact product in my spec sheet?
No. It shows the look of a package. The exact products are set in your spec sheet and the buyer's signed selection.
Can I start before any home on the plan is built?
Yes. Start from a PDF floor plan for a concept render, or from a finished room on a similar plan.
